Our pension and restaurant serve delicious home-made food and provides evening entertainment for the many yachtsmen who find their way here. Twenty years ago Ogun, 9 years old, was thinking: "Nobody wants to play football with me"! Of course, there was nobody around to, only a tiny house where he lived with his parents, brother and sister. All the family knew they were living in paradise, and of course they wanted to share this peaceful place with tourists passing by sailing boat. They offered them food and drink and everything they could provide, even their own bed if it was necessary. Ogun used to take his rowing boat to greet tourists, and Semra was already cooking the wonderful food that her mother taught her. She was only 13 when she had to take the responsibility of the kitchen! It was Ogun who at the age of 14 built himself a jetty out of planks so as to greet his guests. Step by step, Oguns place became known by a lot of people and the reputation got better and better. Ogun's Place is mentioned in many guide books like Le Guide du Routard (France), Innehaal (Sweden), etc; and is on top of the white list for sailing companies like Sunsail, Odissey, Charter Turkey, Yildiz, Sun Charter and many others.The friendlyness of the family is what has made this excellent reputation. Where else can you have such a variety of food and bread freshly bakes each morning by the momma? Where else can you get such services at such competetive prices? Now Ogun is proud to offer rooms with nice, comfortable mattresses, pristine showers and toilets. There is access to the Internet 24 hours a day if you want to visit the world, and if you want to remain more local why not rent a mountain bike. You can be dropped off at panoramic heights and slowly weave your way back here.With all these years of experience, Ogun's Place surpasses all hygene standards and continues to get better and better.
