Long time ago we worked together on the seaborn sun……………………
Good time but over. How are you? How is he baby? I just came back from our Sailingvacations in croatia. It was our 4th time in this country.
In night in a marina I met a guy he was wearing a t- shirt with the label from ogüns place.
Jesus! So I thought by myself I have to write you. Maybe we should plan our next sailingvacations in Turkey to see you again?

Bonjour Bruno, Ogun et Semra Désolé d'écrire si tardivement aprés notre retour en France, mes parents ayant quelques problèmes de santé, j'ai eu d'autres préoccupations. Voici comme promis, les coordonnées exactes du centre de l'entrée de OVA BUKU: N 36° 40.876N, 027° 34.529E Je joins également quelques photos faites lors de notre départ du ponton. Merci pour votre accueil et pour les différents plats qui étaient tous excellents. Hi Ogun and family!
we stranded in Hayit Buku, no bus going back to Datca...BUT..Ogun 'saved' us ;)
He offered us a ride to Marmaris (finding showertaps=massage-taps ;)), telling us beautiful stories about the beginning of Oguns Place (a book will be written by a Shetland Island-sailer soon!), thanks for the great day we've had!

Hy Ogun ,we were with you for 2 seperate nights last June,when the Turkish Giant was installing you new quay,it was great,we met you on our boat in datca port the next night,we returned to your place the following night,it was o good.We have again chartered a catamaran name Prout 46 "L"Aureline from Bodrum we pick the boat up on Mon the 6th June so should be with you on Tues afternoon then Datca then back to you look forward to seeing you & and your sister,Trevor,Ronnie,Jim & 2 new younger crew,never sailed or been on a plane before should be good fun in Turkey |

hello to all. we arrived back in england last night. it was snowing and cold. We would like to have stayed longer and enjoyed the turkish weather and of course visited you as often as we could. Ogun your house is wonderfull the views and location is as you said your dream come true. I wish I could live there, to wake in the morning with the beautiful sight over the bays. Hi Ogun, we sure miss Ova Buku and Turkey. Your place will always hold a special place in our hearts and so will the outstanding hospitality that you and your sister shared with us. On October 5th, we were married on the rocks in the water just in front of Ogun's restaurant and Ogun gave me away. It was the most fabulous wedding, company, accomodations, dinner - you name it!! WOW! What a place. I discovered Ogun's place some years back on a sailing holiday. It's a fantastic little bay, with a Turkish style jetty! Ogun and Semra are the most amazingly friendly people, who would do anything for you. The food it out of this world, I can thoroughly recommend the chicken and banana balls! If you have a list of places you wish to visit in the World add this one to it, you won't be disappointed. |
